Simply put, this stuff does not work. After trying another product with fair results, I decided to give Control-It a chance after reading some positive reviews.Since my habit is more focused on the skin around my nails than the actual nails themselves, I hoped that Control-It being a cream and not polish would help it to penetrate the skin and not wash off as quickly. However, this product wears off and washes off much more quickly than any other that I have tried. You continually have to re-apply it every couple of hours for it to be effective, and, given the size of the containers, you can literally go through an entire container in a couple of days or less. Secondly, Control-It, even in the Omega 3 formulation (which I'm fairly confident means they take regular Control-It and slap the Omega-3 label on it to jack up the price), is exceedingly weak. Even when applied in thick coats, this product is nowhere as bitter, and thus effective, as Mavala Stop and some other deterrants on the market. Lastly, Control-It is laughably expensive, when you consider the tiny volume that they give you and the amount that you have to use to obtain any effects from it.
