Customer Review: Not up to Crabtree's usual standards.

The Swiss Care line is a disappointment for me. While I did not purchase the set, I did purchase full-size products from this line. Big mistake. I've been using Crabtree's other lines for years (their rosewater body creme is a staple of mine and I _love_ their entire La Source line) and felt confident purchasing the Swiss Care line as a daily skin care regimen. Unfortunately ALL of the Swiss Care products I bought (cleansing milk, tonifier and deodorant) went into the trash, barely used. They're that bad.The tonifier is probably the best of the lot, though the main ingredient is witch hazel - which can be disasterous for dry or sensitive skin. I wish they had made the ingredient list available before purchase so that those who do have sensitive skin could be warned.
The cleansing milk is harsh, there is just no other word for it. My skin tends to be rather oily in the T-Zone and this dried up my face to the point that it felt pinched and irritated. This might be suitable for use in a foot bath, but certainly not on the face!
Normally I recommend any and all Crabtree products, but sadly I'm afraid I have to add "except the Swiss Care stuff". It's just not up to their usual standards.
