Like others, I agree this is a great brush, especially for those of us with fine, thin hair.
A great way to use this brush is to turn your head upside down and brush from left to right and right to left a few times (I mostly do my top because I wear my hairs up), and then when you turn right side up again you have much more volume on the top. I also use Nioxin spray gel volumizer when just out of shower, which helps, too.
I had a different Cricket brush for years, but it accumulated little lint balls at the base of each prong which were near impossible to get out. Believe it or not, I Googled 'remove lint from hairbrush' and found an amazing thread titled 'Help me get the lint out of my hairbrush' on some site where tons of women chimed in on all manner of solutions, up to and including, get this: using Elmers glue! So, with a renewed determination to solve the problem, I tossed that brush and got this volumizer. I also got this little jobber Olivia Garden 2 in 1 Hair Brush Cleaner Tool BC-1. I use the wide end to pull out accumulated hair about once a week, then rinse the brush under hot water. Perfect! Keeps the brush from accumulating lint and all is well.
