Customer Review: Our science fair experiment showed this was completely ineffective!

Both my teenage daughter and I have oily skin. Based on the generally good reviews of this product, we bought some several months ago (although I was taken aback by how expensive it is for such a small quantity!)
Anyway, neither of us noted a difference in the oiliness of our skin when using the product. To see if it made any difference whatsoever, my daughter suggested a little experiment: we would both apply the product to one half of our face for several days, randomly switching which half was treated based on a coin flip. At a different time each day, we would ask my husband's opinion as to which half of our face he thought was treated, based on the oiliness. He got the answer right less than 50% of the time! (9 times out of 20). Science fair experiment, here we come...
The product now sits in our medicine cabinet, unused, as a mute testament to how fools with oily faces and their money are soon parted.
As an aside, in the months since we did this experiment, my daughter discovered that good old Milk of Magnesia works great for oil control (she saw the suggestion online). We did the same science fair experiment with MoM, and my husband was able to tell over 90% of the time which side of our face had been treated.
So, skip this product, and try MoM. A bottle of MoM that will last a very long time costs less than a tenth the price of TeaseZone.
