because I love it! I've had oily, acne prone skin my whole life and this is the first product that I've used for more than year without being disappointed. This face wash is serious stuff and shouldn't be thought of as your average over the counter stuff. Admittedly, the fragrance took some getting used to and I don't follow the directions exactly. When they say a "small amount," they really mean "tiny." I use less than half a pump, water it down a bit, lather in my hands, then massage into my skin for about 10-15 seconds, and rinse. At first, I tried massaging for 1 minute as suggested, but my skin got too dried out and often turned red. Because you need so little, the bottle last for a really long time and it's great when I can find the 32oz size. So much cheaper per oz!
