I use the lavender liquid soap to shampoo my dogs. Not only is it safe, but they smell great afterward. I love it because there are no harsh chemicals to be absorbed into their skin. It gets pretty sudsy too which some dog shampoos don't. Remember to rinse it very thoroughly. This shampoo was so watery that it takes a lot of shampoo to wash all my hair, and it doesn't lather up like I'm used to other shampoos doing. But I know that it is all-natural and so it's better for me since whatever touches your skin goes into your body. It was rated a #1 on the Environmental Working Group website. I've been using Dr. Bronner soap for 8 years and I love it to pieces. There are no words. All One Health World. I especially love all the affirmations written on the label... Every time I read them I am inspired. Lavender is one of my favourite scents too. If you haven't used Bronner's, TRY it. This soap is by far the best on the market. It has so many varied uses. I wash my body and hair with it, fine washable garments, and even clean with it in place of some artificial concoction that is harmful to me and the environment. I was very surprised to read the chemicals that are everyday personal items. I did an internet search and was floored. Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Sodium Laurel (Laureth) Sulfate...the list is huge...no wonder people are so sick.
On the other hand, this soap has none of that. It smells great, they have a new customer!
