My wife turned me on to this soap and I'm slowly starting to use it more and more. She has been using nothing but Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps for the past 2 years. It reminds me of the soap my grand-mother used to make from scratch. According to my wife's research, this product has very low to no toxicity, compared to other "so called" natural products I use, like Jason, Burt's Bees, Nature's Gate, Alba, etc... although, it's still hard to give them up all together. Now about the product itself: my skin is not too sensitive and I like a thorough clean down, so the peppermint oil really invigorates my skin as I scrub it with a loofah. I love that hot/cold sensation it gives and that squeaky clean feeling when you run your fingers on your skin. If anything, it gives you a psychological reassurance that you feel clean. The only reason I give it 4 stars, is because my wife says you can use it on anything. Although it is great for touch ups, on private parts and other areas of the body, it turned out to be a disaster when I wash my hair with it. I have very thick hair, so it was hard to comb, it felt dried and fluffy, which made me look like I came back from the jungle! All and all, it has a very natural feel to it and cleanse well, but don't go off reading the text on the label if you are a straight shooter type of person, or you might get startled.
