Upon reading a couple of the more negative reviews, I had my doubts about ordering this, but I did, and it is a fine shower brush. It is nicely designed with a very easy grip, the handle is nice and long, it's made of hard plastic so it won't gather mildew and odors as wooden brushes do. If there is a downside, it might be that for some people the brush doesn't have as many bristles as some, so it isn't as stiff a scrub brush as there is, but it does just fine as far as I am concerned. I would probably get it again.Customer Review: 2 brushes disintegrated in exactly the same way.

I must have gotten a bad batch of this product. I bought 2 of these backbrushes based on the positive reviews, one for myself and another as a possible gift. My brush disintegrated after the first light use. The body of the brush split into 19 long narrow sharp sections as it dried, letting go of all the bristles. I thought it was a just a bad piece. I still needed a backbrush so used the other brush. Exactly the same problem occured. The brush disintegrated into many lateral sharp sections.Customer Review: Back Brush

The items handle is composed of plastic not metal despite it's listing as metal (the color of the handle is silver on it maybe resembling the color of metal...?)although was pricey after shipping, had I gone to the store I could have purchased a back brush for cheaper(but can you blame the company for this...). You do however, get two brushes with purchase and they work just as you'd suspect a back brush would.Customer Review: Sturdy back brush, performs well

After a few weeks of use, this seems to be a well-made back brush. It doesn't warp like wood after being in the shower for a while. I like the rubberized grip on the handle too.
*After a few months of use, I'm still using the first brush from this two pack. I'm very pleased with how well it performs and how new it still looks. Much better than wooden brushes that warp and get moldy.

First, The brush is not metal, it's plastic that looks like metal. I knew this when I bought it after reading other reviews. The problem is the bristles are made of plastic. The bristles are stiff and don't feel comfortable to my back. The other problem is the bristles don't hold the soap in them. There's no way to get a lather with this brush. It's junk, don't buy it.
