Customer Review: Smells like cheap cake batter.. all day long

The lotion is thick and rich, which is nice, but I can only use it on my lower body (and only until I finish the bottle) because the fragrance is so very mighty. If I use it on my arms, I'll smell artificial cake batter all day. Really, all day. I'd put it on in the morning and, hours later, it'd be so noticeable that I'd try to cover up the smell with another lotion. It's persistent, and it's definitely not natural.
I also had bought the Lavender scent, which seems to derive its scent from essential oils. I decided to try vanilla this time, though, and after finding myself walking around in a cloud of fake vanilla perfume, I read the ingredients more closely. "Natural vanilla fragrance." I'm not sure what they mean by that. From what I understand "fragrance" indicates a synthetic perfume. My nose seems to confirm that. What a "natural" fragrance is, then, I do not know (an oxymoron?), but I can tell you it's not simply an extract or an essential oil - a natural scent would dissipate in minutes, not pursue you all day. Besides, the smell is more akin to cheap cake mix than pure vanilla.
If you think Bath & Body Works smells great, then go ahead & try this stuff. But if you are fragrance sensitive or seeking a natural product, look elsewhere.

It's a sorry state of affairs when your doctor points out dry skin to you! Because my hands are so smooth, I hadn't noticed my "shedding" legs. When Doc commented about it, I hung my head in shame. As a person dubbed "Legs" by certain old friends, that would never do!
So when I saw a trusted Amazon reviewer praise Body Lotion With Pump-Vanilla - 8.5 oz. - Lotion, I decided to nurture my skin with this yummy lotion. I've been using it for three months now and I love it. It's not only rich and creamy, it smells good too: VANILLA, one of my favorite scents. But best of all--it actually works!
Thanks to reviewer Kasia for pointing this out to me. I can't wait to see the look of appreciation on my doctor's face; for once, I don't dread my routine appointment. Perhaps by then I'll begin to look more like Kasia too. That would be a huge bonus. ;>)

Customer Review: Creamy & Long Lasting Lotion

I will put my review here, although the product I've been using is their Grapefruit scented lotion. This lotion is rich, creamy, and long lasting. I can apply it in the morning after my shower, and it lasts all day. The smell is quite neutral (very mild) - which is helpful because I like to wear perfumes & essential oils. It leaves the slightest oily residue, but it really isn't noticeable - I even apply the lotion to my face. If you find it to be oily, just add a little bit of water when rubbing into the skin and you will feel quite tender & juicy - a naturally supple feel to the skin. A little bit goes a long way. My 8 oz bottle lasted me 1 year, and sadly my store stopped carrying it - so I have recently tried numerous other natural lotions, only to be disappointed. I will stick to Ecco Bella lotions from now on. Nothing else compares. No Parabens, SLS, etc either!Customer Review: Best body lotion on the market - Ecco Bella

I have tried many products over the years for my feet and heels that crack. Nothing worked until Ecco Bella Lotion, which has 0 water in it. I love this lotion.. it makes my skin soft and smooth (without grease or stickiness). It really smells like vanilla too, unlike some of those cheap vanilla scents that give you a headache (this lotion uses real vanilla extract!) And it looks like melted vanilla ice cream... I love putting it on my skin.
