I also picked this up in my local drugstore after reading the reviews. The brushes are soft and after a few washes, they still feel as good as ever. They are definitely above drugstore quality and are good despite not being animal hair.
I also recommend their foundation brush, which is not included here. I've used it with Revlon's ColorStay foundation and Smashbox Conversion, both over primer, and both worked pretty well.
I've used the angled brush with Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner and also wet with some Lorac eyeshadow. Since I personally prefer pointed brushes for eyeliner, I didn't get the best of results but the brush itself was definitely fine.
The only thing is I don't know if it was a good idea buying the whole thing since I only ever use three of the five brushes (blush, liner and blending).

I love them! I use a mixture of liquid makeup and mineral makeup. Many of the mineral makeups I have do not come with brushes, and the ones offered by the brand I use are so very expensive. I checked out several different options here on Amazon and decided on these. They came and I have to say I love them. They are super soft and feel like such high quality. The brushes are very full and plump. No cheap plastic feel to them and do not irritate my sensitive skin at all. I do not keep them in the little plastic bag they came in because they don't really fit very well in it. They are such nice brushes, it would seem a shame to keep them crammed into the case they came in. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

These brushes are wonderful - they're soft, durable, don't shed, and are about as eco-friendly as you can get! (Not to mention they are easy on the wallet!).
These are travel brushes, so the handles are shorter than usual - that's the only thing that might be a drawback if you're not planning on toting these with you. If you are, it's a big plus (as is the nifty little carrying pouch).
I've had some eco-tools brushes for a few years and they are still going strong. I can't imagine spending $40 on just one brush ever again when I can get these little gems for the price of a few lattes! My 5-pc set came with 2 bonus brushes as well - and I'm a sucker for free stuff (but then, who isn't?)!

I was in need of mineral brushes but was VERY dissapointed when I received the wrong set! Instead I was sent the 6 piece eye makeup set. I sent customer service an email and, what the luck! They didn't have any more in stock. I didn't want to go through all the complications of sending it back and THEN buying it again at full price because the only reason that I finally bought these mineral brushes were because the price had lowered dramatically. But if I was to re-buy it, it would be again at full price.
I decided to keep the other set of brushes, though most of them I will have no use for.
I would of have given one star but seeing how good quality of how EcoTools brushes are, I decided to give two.

I've spent good money on brushes to only have to buy new ones to replace them due to shedding and them getting rough. I bought these and they were surprisingly soft to the touch. I use the foundation brush with bare minerals foundation, and the kabuki for for the mineral veil, works Great together. The eyeshadow brush is a wonderful eyeshadow brush that blends color very well. I use it for my daytime shadowing. The concealer brush works great with bare minerals bisque. I use all the brushes and for the price I would be happy to replace every few months. I've already washed the foundation brush and its just as soft as when i first purchased it. Great Quality for a Great price.
