Customer Reviews of EcoTools MINERAL 5pc Make Up Brush Travel Set 1213Customer Review: Best brushes I have used yet. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these because of them being eco-friendly. (There have been some discussions about bamboo being harvested and ruining panda environments, but this company grows their own bamboo supply.) The brushes are really soft, and put my powder make-up on like a dream. I don't use anything cream or liquid. I am sensitive to animal hair brushes, so this was a great alternative for me. Some places online sell them for up to $20, but if you can't find them cheaper, head to your local Rite Aid or Walgreens. I got mine for 10.99 from a drugstore. They would also make a great gift to a vegetarian, organic eating, or eco-consious person. They are my favorite brushes so far.
Customer Review: so soft and great for travel Summary: 5 Stars
This company has yet to disappoint. The brushes are incredibly soft. The taklon bristles are amazing. This eco-friendly set is available at a great price and i love that they use recycled aluminum and bamboo. The brushes are thick and dense. i love that you can reuse the packaging for travel. They are also super easy to clean. No worry about bacteria in the cuticle as with taklon it does not exist like with animal hair brushes.
The cotton and hemp travel case is nice but i prefer the green packaging better.i highly recommend this to anybody looking for great alternatives to sable brushes and brushes that are not so expensive.
Customer Review: Not great Summary: 3 Stars
The material of these brushes is really fantastic, the bristles are very soft. However, these seem to be all odd sizes, not quite what I had expected. The largest brush, which I intended to use as a loose power brush, isn't as big as I would like. I feel like I'm smearing the power on, not dusting. The next brush has a really small little handle or "nub," it isn't easy to hold and the brush part is actually too large to use for blush as I had intended. The other 2 brushes, which I thought I would use for eyeshadow, are actually too large for eyeshadow - if you want any control that is. Great material, not very useful.
Customer Review: Hmm the items shown in the image are different then the ones I ordered Summary: 5 Stars
I think they're selling a different 5 set brush piece set now and they're from a different seller well the ones I got were a 5 piece set(they count the hemp bag as a fifth piece) that had like a big powder brush a eye shadow shading brush and a little countor brush that they say is supposed to be used for like foundation or cover up but I use it as a blush brush it works great and I mostly used the powder brush for all over face powder and I always use the eyeshading brush for like the base and lighter shades of my eyeshadow I like this brush set and I would definantly recommended this to a friend
Customer Review: 9.99 at Target! Very soft Summary: 5 Stars
I'm an Amazon shopper normally. I was researching brushes that don't shed, are very soft and eco-friendly and these came up as an affordable option as I could not spend the money for the more expensive brushes. I ran to Target since they were only 9.99 for the set. I was amazed at how soft they are and love the packaging. I also want to get the big retractable brush for 7.99 at Target next time. I use the kabuki for foundation and the brush for blush but wanted to use it for the veil. I wish they had a separate brush for minerals blush or veil use. Great product for a great price...thanks!
