I bought the Chi Turbo 2" from Ulta nearly 2 years ago and it finally just stopped working a few weeks ago. For some reason, the Ulta near me isn't selling them anymore, so I've turned to amazon because I pretty much can't live without it. My hair is extremely long and after using a regular 1" Chi for a while, I discovered that the 2" cut my straightening time down by half. It was a fantastic straightener! The only thing I'm hesitant about is the fact that I don't want to spend $200 on something that I can't even get a 1yr warranty for just because it's bought off the internet. If you find one in a salon that's a little more expensive, the extra money is probably worth it.Customer Review: I love it

I have wasted money on numerous cheaper proucts like Revlon and Vidal Sasson straighteners, but I agree with ppl who said nothing works like a Chi.From my experience I would recommend spending the extra bucks on a good product instead of getting disappointed by the cheapies. I would tell my friends that I have curly hair and there is no way even a Chi would get it straight like the model pics. I had to eat my words when one of friends straightened my hair with her straightener(It wasnt a Chi, but some other expensive brand).After looking at the results, I went ahead and got me a Chi right away. I did some pretty extensive research before deciding on a Chi Hair Straightener. So far, I'm very pleased. I have long, very course hair with medium curls and poofy issues. I'm currently growing out some of the shorter sections and have found this tool very helpful in keeping my hair from looking like a helmet. Basically, I straighten the top portion of my hair and let the bottom remain curly - it actually looks pretty good. I did get a very good price ($89.00) but there was no warranty in the box and no instructions. My question is whether my iron is new or refurbished???? So far no problems, though. I've had this product for almost a year now. I have very thick, frizzy, hair and have spent my life getting it relaxed every six months, and blowing drying it straight. I've never used a straight iron because they could never handle my hair. But with this one, I have not needed a blow dryer since I got it! Now my hair is straighter than it has ever been in my life, which I thought I would never see. Of course this makes it very straight so I can't get any shape or curls from it(which is what I was going for). Cut my drying time by almost 2 hours (as long as I apply some protective serum on when still wet). Great product and still going strong.Customer Review: Incredible!

OMG. If you're a girl, this is almost better than the cell phone. I had a little trouble with the delivery since the seller uses DHL and they're no good. The iron itself is like a dream come true. I have very thick curly hair and it works right away and leaves your hair looking and feeling silky smooth and pin straight. Almost like Asian hair and for anyone with my hair type, we know what that is. It doesn't even take that long to do! I've recommended it to everyone I know. Also, I recommend getting the 2" over the 1". It's bigger which allows it to cover more ground. I can't say enough great things about it. Highly highly recommended.
