This mirror has the light at the bottom of the 15X-magnifying glass. The purpose of the bottom light is to offer different lightings for applying makeup, such as soft-evening light.
Thus, the illumination is very poor. I find it difficult to focus when applying makeup, or checking for tooth plaque, because there is inadequate light.
I am one who uses items until worn out, but I have tossed this annoying mirror out!
