Having had two hip replacements, I used this on the scar both times. It is a fantastic product. On the first one done some two years ago, the scar is barely visible, no redness at all and there's absolutely no knotty scar tissue. The second one, done January 2010, I still apply it and the scar is becoming less and less. I told a fellow "hippy" about it and she's used it with the same raves. Use it regularly, follow directions and it is a miracle in a blue bottle, regardless of the affliction on ones skin.
