Being somewhat germophobic, I frequently wash my hands. I also feel the need to use antibacterial soap, which is generally worse for the skin. Most of the year I have no problem with dry skin, but when winter rolls around the skin on the back of my hands begins to crack and bleed. It's annoying when people are always asking me, "What's wrong with your hands?". I have tried various lotions, but I never saw results very quickly with them. My hands began to hurt the other day and I decided enough was enough. I Googled "dry bleeding cracked hands" and Gloves in a Bottle was the first link. I clicked and read about the product. It was definitely an interesting concept. I then went to amazon to check out the reviews. I was surprised at how many great reviews it had received. I had to try this out myself. I found it at a local pharmacy. After THE FIRST DAY of use, I could see marked improvement in my hands. It has now been only two days since I first started using it, and my hands look much better already. I also love the way it feels. You can't really tell you have it on. It is like most lotions at first, but within a few minutes it dries in and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. It claims to not wash off with hand-washing. I can't really tell if this is true or not because I can't really tell when it's on my skin. I suspect it is since it is working so well. Either way this stuff works GREAT. I love it so much I've been telling all my friends about it. This is my second review on amazon, but I feel Gloves in a Bottle deserves it.
