I've tried at least 10 other gels and spiking substances, including 3 or 4 others from got2b. This one is the best because it's a liquid when it dispenses, so you can spread it around your hair really easily. Other products usually don't spread as easily, so I always end up missing some of my hair or using a ton of the stuff. Second, it takes a few minutes to harden, so you can adjust your style while it does. Once it hardens, your hair will not move until you wash it. It is as strong as anything else once it hardens. Finally, it washes out way more easily than some of the other really-strong-hold products. I tried the got2b spiking glue when I couldn't find the cement, and it was almost impossible to wash out (unless you buy the special shampoo that got2b sells for that specific purpose). I love this stuff and nothing does the job like the spiking cement.
