Customer Review: Had hopes, but it didn't work.

After reading all the reviews from reviewers, who I felt had the same type of skin I had, I thought this would be a win-win situation. I know that everyone's skin is different, and it reacts how it wants to. With the highly positive reviews, I thought I would take a chance.
I have fair, very oily/hypersensitive skin. (It didn't always use to be sensitive. My skin in the past operated more like a tank - taking anything that was out there.) When I entered my 30s, my fair skin started to respond to retinol and benzoyl peroxide with rashes and broken capillaries. My dermatologist said that it was Rosacea.
There were a lot of studies showing that green tea helped inflammation and redness. So, I began my search for green tea products...
Because of my oily skin, I decided I would introduce the moisturizer at night. The moisturizer isn't as light as my standard moisturizer. I wanted to slowly integrate it into my facial cleansing regime. The first night I applied the moisturizer only to my problem cheek area. My cheeks seem to be the most sensitive on my face. On contact, it had a light sting, and I knew that it wasn't a good sign. My skin started to redden. I stuck with it for three more days, but realized that this moisturizer was not for me. It's a shame because I had finally thought I had found a green tea sensitive skin moisturizer, but nope...the search continues.
