I owned a previous version of this dryer for 10 years until it finally died. So I looked for one just like it to buy. This is updated. It's lighter, weighing only 14 ounces. It is ionic which my old one didn't have. The toggle switches are great and they don't get accidentally switched when I hold the dryer. The cord is very long. The only negative is it's louder than the old one. I know, the box says quiet. It isn't. So if you have sensitive ears, it may not be for you. Otherwise buy away!!!
