I've been a diehard user of L'oreal Sublime Bronze Gelee for years now, but it's always very hard to find year round...in fact, whenever I do see it on the shelf at the store, I usually buy it no matter the season.
Well, it's June which means shorts, capris, swimsuits...bare skin. Cannot find Sublime Bronze but my local discount store did have Island Radiance which was also a gel consistency and had a decent aroma - nice and citrusy. Price was comparable to L'oreal. Decided to give it a shot.
VERY VERY VERY pleased. Great moisturizer...nice glow that lasts. DHA smell does appear after a while. My recommendation: apply at night, but let dry completely (about 10-15 minutes) before going to bed. In the morning, apply your favorite fragrant lotion (my fav Philosophy's Amazing Grace).
I'm loving this more than VersaSpa (that definitely leaves a smell) and than Sublime Bronze. A definite buy and I see that Amazon offers a 2-fer special at a discount...hmmm....
Also, the level 3 Med-Dark is not too dark. I am light skin with pink undertones and after 2 applications had a perfect tanned glowed without being an Oompa Loompa, overdone, or too fake. I'll continue using the level 3 for summertime.
