I have been using this product for at least 20 years. The reason for purchasing a new one was because I left mine at the condo we rented this summer and it "disappeared". This product is hard to find. I hightly recommend this product especially if you are challenged like me and can't quite get the coordination to use a curling iron without bristles. I always seem to burn myself. Love, love love they way it heats up very quickly and the bristles help my keep the hot iron away from my scalp so that I don't burn myself. The only drawback and to me it is minor is that I almost always get my hair caught on the one end and have to pull to remove the few strands that get caught. It's not painful but just annoying. If I'm not in a hurry and looking in the mirror when I am curling my haird I can avoid do this to my hair. I seriously thought about buying two of these in case they become obsolete and I would not be stuck trying to find something else I like as much. I settled on buying two but in different sizes. The other one I bought was larger since I tend to fluctuate between medium to long length hair.
