Customer Review: An "oldie" and a "better-than-goodie"

I have thick, wavy-to-curly hair that with highlights and added color. My hair is cut in layers, so I will not look like the Sphynx or Roseanne Rosanadana (sp?). I LOVE this diffuser because its fingers are long enough to lift tiny to hefty-ish locks of hair, which to me means I can get lift and volume, especially at the crown. This gives me thicker-looking, well defined curls. I do not even have to section my hair, which I used to have to do to straighten it. Also, I do not have to use the hottest setting on my dryer-ever. This diffuser fits an ancient Conair dryer that I can't believe is still alive. The only caveat I must include is that this diffuser may not fit your dryer. That said, there are SO MANY excellent, modern, reasonably-priced dryers out there. You don't have to pay $100+ for one. Also, this diffuser is so good it's been around for, I'd say, probably ten years. It's so good I have a spare. Funny thing is, it used to be $9 on the folica.com site. I think people may be looking twice at this one, because, for one thing, the fingers are long enough and it doesn't smush your hair like, ironically, so many diffusers do.
