I bought this product because I have strait hair and I always want to curl my hair, but everytime I do, it takes like 2 hours (I have VERY long hair) and my hair never holds curls, so I thought I would give this product a try since I wanted something different than strait. Well, may I say this was exactly what I needed. My hair is 34 inches long and it took about 45 minutes the first time, and 30 every time after> (from dry hair). The first time I styled after my nightly shower and I put hair spray in because I wasn't sure if it would hold, but by morning, it was still perfect. I woke up the next day and it was a little frizzy but I did wear it through the day and still got several compliments. The second time I styled it was after a morning shower and It stayed great all day and the next day before a shower was necessary. DO NOT BRUSH IT!!! after you crimp, hair spray or not, you should not brush it because it will become like an afro. This product is very hot, and because of that a heat protectant in VITAL and this product IS NOT FOR CHILDREN. I use a tresseme heat protectant, but any should be fine. I recieved soooo many compliements and was even asked by several if I had fake hair on because it was so beautiful. Also this hair style is cute with half down and the top half in a messy bun. Very cute!!! Good luck and use heat protectant!!!!!
