I went on a rampage and bought 12 Loreal HIP eyeshadow pots, only to be left with clutter. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the eyeshadow, but it was hard to see what colors I had, what I wanted to use and some were just lingering in the bottom of my makeup drawer...soooooo......
I depotted the HIP (it's actually easy, some sites say you need a lighter but I just used the tip of a knife and popped them out), and stuck them inside a DVD case (don't recommend) - the eyeshadows didn't last well in that loose environment and it became messy....so.......i did some more research, saw some reviews about these large shadow palettes and got them on a whim and prayed they'd work
They couldn't have come fast enough!!!
They large size is a little bit big for the loreal HIP but I'll live. The magnets on the bottom holds my pots in place (no worry) and there's a little hole on the underside of the palette for me to pop them out in case i run out or want to change up the colors (super easy).
NOW I have access to all 12 sets with a flip of a lid. (the lid is magnetized so it's closed securely). I feel like a 2 year old with my first water color set...I can now see all 24 colors and can blend/mix and actually KNOW what i have. I can now blend other colors without having to hassle with digging through the other pots. It's just nice to see my rainbow of fabulosity!! (it also decluttered my makeup drawer)
The case is slim (it is long, think of the length of your forearm - or maybe a king size candy bar). I can stick this in my work messenger bag and go (but def not my night time going out clutch).SO GLAD I GOT 2 (now I have an excuse to get more colors)
