In the 70's, Gunne Sax dresses were very popular with the girls at my school, I wore one to the All-School Banquet (the Prom), and I have mine carefully wrapped in tissue saved in my cedar chest.
So, I was so looking forward to receiving this perfume. But OH MY GOODNESS, it was SUCH a huge dissapointment. I am not exagerating when I say that it is the worst fragrance that I have ever smelled, and that includes drug store copycats. It literally made me nauseas. I had my friend smell it, not telling her how I felt, and she said it was horrible and didn't want it, after I offered to give to her.
It has a nice warm undertone beneath the stench, and so that and the 2 free samples that came in the box are the only reason that I am giving it 1 star, but if I could I would give it only 1/4 star! It must have been a bad batch that nobody checked, that is the only thing I can think of, because Jessica Mclintock has for years been one of my faverite scents. Amazon does not offer refunds or exchanges on perfume, so I am stuck with it. Total waste of $!
