I absolutely LOVE this product! Not to mention, it's much less expensive than those other flat irons!

I happened upon this flat iron @ Sally's when they were having a special on this flat iron. (Buy the Palladium flat iron and get a Jilbere blow dryer free. How awesome was that?)

At any rate, as an African American female with natural hair, it is hard to find a straightening tool that actually gets your hair straight and keeeps it straight. Many times in the past, I have flat ironed my hair only to have it 'poof' up after the slightest bit of humidity. I only have to use it maybe twice per week, at the most, even during the days it rains. This flat iron DELIVERS!
Here's my
straight to the point review of this product:

PROS:
1. It heats up to 465 degrees! Now for some, that may be too high, but if you have 4b type hair like me, this is a god send, as you only need to pass your hair through one time! It does have a temp control that allows you to control the amount of heat you want on your hair depending on your hair texture.
2. Bang for your buck! It's only $59.99 @ Sallys and most other retailers!
3. Doesn't snag your hair!
4. Has a swiver cord, which means it won't tangle!
5. Heats VERY fast! It gets hot within seconds of turning it on! So no more having to wait for it to get hot while in the shower! It will be hot by the time you hit the power button as soon as you get out the shower!
6. Has a lock function so that you don't burn the counter or to keep your hair in place
7. Has a detachable comb piece that serves as a 'detangler'.

CONS:
1. The power button is in an odd place. I've mistakenly turned it off while using it, but it reheats very quickly!

Thats the only con about this product.

I HIGHLY recommend this to all my budget-conscious fashionistas looking for a great product that delivers. This is definitely a tool I will keep in my arsenal of hair products.

I have used the other, more expensive flat irons and found this to rank even higher than some of them!

So if you're looking for a flat iron that really gets your hair straight, doesn't snag or leave it slightly frizzy, this is the product for you!
