It is a pretty good light moisturizer and light foundation, but really doesn't do much for legitimately dry skin and doesn't fully cover any blemishes. It does help even out my skin tone and adds just enough moisture to make up for how dry my face is after I wash it. One problem is that it rubs off really easily, so I often end up having to scrub it off my shirt collars, etc. I like that it is not tested on animals/is vegetarian- it's the only oil-free face moisturizer I could find that is. I have also tried the manilla shade, but that made me look ghostly pale- I wouldn't recomment it unless you have ridiculously white skin. Beach is good for my fairly light skin. It's generally a good product if you're not looking for it to do any heavy duty stuff.
