I got my first Korres Lip Butter from a coworker as a gift for Christmas this year. I got the Lip Butter Glaze in Pomegranate/ Sheer Coral. I absolutely LOVE how soft it makes my lips feel, and how healthy my lips look! I have very dry lips; it doesn't really matter what time of the year it is. And I have so many lip "butters", balms and glosses, that I can almost fill a (small) purse with them all. While I've spent a lot of money on them, and I do still use them all on a regular basis, the Korres Lip Butter is quickly becoming my favorite!
While I really like the Lip Butter Glaze in the Pomegranate/ Sheer Coral that I got, I have to be in front of a mirror to apply it. This is because I've noticed that if I pay attention to what I'm doing and apply just ONE layer, it's a nice, light pinkish color on my lips. If I apply any more than that, it becomes too much of a "coral" color for my skin tone, which is pale with yellow undertones. And while I don't mind looking in the mirror to apply lip butters/ balms, I don't always have the time at work to do so. I keep this Lip Butter in the pocket of my scrub jacket, and apply as needed. I don't want to have to worry about whether or not I've applied too much and now I'm walking around with orange clown lips. That said, because this Lip Butter is SO good, I DON'T have to apply it very often!
I wanted to try other colors, so I decided to come to this site to see what they had available. I ended up ordering the Jasmine in the Lip Butter Glaze ( in a tube )....LOVE the Jasmine! Then I saw this particular shade of Pomegranate/ Sheer PEACH in the jar ( in the Glaze form, it's Pomegranate/ Sheer CORAL ). Anyway, I received it today and I like this one a lot! It really is more of a sheer Peach, not the sheer Coral of the other one. So now I can apply it without a mirror, and without worrying about scaring the heck out of people with my bright orangey-coral lips! Bonus!
And it doesn't bother me that this one is in a little jar, instead of a tube like the Glaze. I know some people consider it a "hygiene" thing to stick your finger in a jar over and over. But if you're washing /sanitizing your hands before you do, and you're not letting everyone you know stick their grubby little fingers into your jar, I don't think it matters. I have both versions, the Lip Butter in the jar, and the Lip Butter Glaze in the tube, and I love them both. Very moisturizing, long lasting, and high quality product from Korres. HIGHLY recommend it!! :)
