This is my first time using a henna product. It's actually a very involved process, and can get pretty messy. I followed the instructions exactly, with the exception of doing a test strand (for allergic reactions) but the color didn't really come through. Maybe due to my dark hair.
I'll give it another try but will make some changes to how I put it on my hair, like using a comb, for instance...and standing on an old towel or something so that the henna doesn't roll off of my hair & onto my floor staining it. Oh yes, it stains, so make sure your ears and hairline are lined w. some kind of vaseline (I'd used a hair polish since I didn't have any!)
Overall, pros of using this product outweigh the cons - it's good for the environment, good for your skin, makes hair feel good (I also have hair loss issues).
