I have spent more time and money than I care to admit trying to find the right product(s) to add fullness and volume to my fine hair. Like so many others, when I read the description and reviews of the Living Proof products, I was raring to try them - especially the Thickening Cream, which seems to be the "miracle" product of their full line of products.

The Thickening Cream is, basically, Elmer's Glue in a bottle labeled as a hair-care product. And, yes, I tried varying the amount. Essentially what the Thickening Cream boils down to is that it is a substance that "fattens" your hair by making it stiff, dry and very "helmet head". It took me forever to dry because the cream was so goopy - and it hurt because I had to pull so hard to get the brush to go through my hair. Even with a tiny amount.

When it was all said and done, I hated the way my hair felt throughout the day. I felt and looked like a female news anchor (no offense to all the beautiful and amazing news anchors out there!).

Perhaps it was just my hair as a lot of people seem happy with the results. So, give it a shot, but I do not recommend the Thickening Cream in particular.
