First of all, the bottle is huge! An average bottle of eau de toilette is 3-4 ounces. This is 10! The bottle is about 5 inches tall, plus the sprayer. It's a great value.
Here's a description from someone who has more knowledge about fragrances than I do: "Deliciously herbaceous, basil is aromatic and energizing with an intriguing freshness. The aromatic woody fragrance opens with savory basil brightened with top notes of tomato leaf and lemongrass, enhanced with a heart of freesia, jasmine, and orange flower. The dry down is a warm embrace of cashmeran, white musk and sandalwood."
This is a different scent than I'm used to and I love it. It smells like summer - your shower after the beach with the lingering scent of soap, the herbal/floral/woodsy smell of the garden wafting through the open window, and a bright touch of basil.
The scent lasts - this is not a watered-down version - but it's light enough to spray all over without your office mates making faces after you pass them in the hallway.
