This mascara has done the best for me in covering quickly and making my lashes look long while holding my curl...other mascara's seem to be too wet and loose any curl I put into it by the time it dries. I had been using this mascara for years when it seems the company discontinued it!I was so upset but have been trying a variety of other companies waterproof mascara wands since including some very expensive brands for the last year but just haven't found a reasonable replacement. I have been avoiding purchasing it on line because I am sure these items are over 1 year old and you are not supposed to use eye makeup that old. This weekend however I found an old tube and tried it and immediately fell in love with it all over again. I can't resist. Going on vacation next week and feel the need to have my old faithful on hand so I'm ordering! By the way to those of you who have trouble getting this mascara off at night try good old fashioned Vaseline (good moisturizing for the skin around your eyes too). Rub it in with your finger for about 10 seconds and the mascara will soften up to be removed with a tissue. Then follow up with your regular eye makeup remover to get all the final traces off.
