I decided to let my hair grow long last year, after 20 years of short hair. One of the problems with that is, after shampooing, it is very hard to comb your hair out,
even with a good conditioner, without feeling like you are tearing your hair. For
years, I was a hairdresser and no one ever introduced me to this wonderful comb.
Hairdressers are taught to comb out long hair from the roots up, but, the longer the
hair, the harder it is to comb it out without causing damage. I had used wide-toothed combs, but I discovered the Mebco Tortoise Shower Detangler on a website about long hair care. It is faux tortoise, very inexpensive, and the teeth
are arranged so that you can comb out your wet hair, without damage. I bought 2 of them and gave one to a friend. If you are letting your hair grow long, the Mebco
Tortoise Shower Detangler is a keeper. I got it through Amazon, where I find
everything.
