The Pros: It does a decent job of trimming--the main purpose of this unit.
The Cons: The light never worked. Having the blades on the side is tough getting used to. My previous trimmers all had the cutter on the top, and it was usually small and round. This cutting edge is long and large. I find it more difficult to angle the unit to clip both my nose and my ears than the top-cut models.
Overall, the unit does cut well. It's getting the blades in position to cut that is the hard part, and like I said, the light never worked from day one.
