I have had trouble with ingrown hairs and severe irritation when shaving my bikini area, which actually left me unable to wear swimsuits without a cover up anyway. It was so frustrating and unnattractive, and I have tried every kind of over the counter cream and medication I could think of over the years. I saw this product on Amazon last year but hesitated because of the price. Was that ever stupid. I finally ordered the product this year and WOW does it work. This is a God send. No more ingrown hairs and no more irritation. NONE. And I shave that area daily now. With the roller ball you do not use a lot of the product so it lasts quite a long time. Do note that at first it did sting a bit but that stops after a couple days use.
My regimen now is to use an inexpensive shaving cream for sensitive skin and a GOOD more expensive razor, and designate it for shaving in that area only. Shave against-yes, against-the direction of hair growth for a clean shave. Use the MNYS2 right after shaving and also 2 more times a day every day to start, until skin clears. After the MNYS2 dries apply baby oil, also 2 more times a day every day to start until skin clear. (After skin clears use both right after shaving and once daily as well on days you do not shave.) Also, when showering every day use a round bath scrubbie with body wash to gently wash the area in all directions to exfoliate and inhibit ingrown hairs as well.

I've had this for a few days, occasionally using it before shaving and always after, sometimes twice a day, and am thrilled that my legs are actually smooth - something I didn't think you could get by using an electric shaver.
Before using this I would come out of the shower after shaving and look like I had three days worth of stubble on my legs. I had used TendSkin before but it was messier and definitely more irritating than Solution 2. This product does not sting, and leaves behind a soft sheen on the skin.
It smells very strongly of alcohol with the slightest trace of mint when it first goes on, but that evaporates quickly. I had such a horrible problem with ingrown hairs that I didn't hold out much hope this would work, and am very pleased. I am hoping that with continued use the red "dots" I have had on my legs forever finally disappear.
I ordered this through Amazon and it arrived very quickly. The product is very nicely packaged and came with a couple of freebies - a bottle of shampoo and a few travel packets of Solution 2.
I have been rolling the product on day and night because I love that silky smooth feeling my legs have now that the ingrowns are all popping out and I can get a very close shave. The only downside is that I'll be out of it in no time, and it's not exactly cheap for the amount you get, which is why I only gave it four stars.

I switched from Tend Skin to this product because of the rollerball application and the price.
After less than a month of using it on my legs after every shave, I'm out. I was careful to use only as much as I needed to cover my legs and I was surprised at how quickly it ran out.
Overall, Tend Skin seemed to work better in getting rid of my chronic razor bumps and ingrown hairs, but this product does sting a little less and smells better.
It's cheaper than Tend Skin, but doesn't last as long. I guess each individual has to weigh what matters to them and try it out for themselves. I'm switching back to Tend Skin because, for the price of buying this once a month, I could buy a bottle of Tend Skin that might last me a few months.

I'd actually give it 4.5 stars. As a guy who shaves frequently, I would always get ingrown hairs on my neck after shaving--but not anymore! This product does exactly as it is supposed to...keeps the hairs out from skin! The only drawbacks are the price (it is a bit pricey) and a quick stinging (that of alcohol on an open cut). Here's my breakdown:

+ After the initial sting, it leaves a nice tingly feeling :)
+ Also available is a refill bottle and use that to refill the roller ball applicator (it's a bit cheaper per oz.)

I used Tend Skin for many years with mixed results. I recently ran out of Tend Skin and looked for it on Amazon. Luckily, I stumbled upon Solution 2.
Before I ordered it, I read each of the twenty plus reviews. This product is light years better than Tend Skin!!! The roller ball makes it much easier to apply evenly. The spearmint smell wears off after three minutes (according to my wife). The burning that you may read about is the normal after shave burn.
If you have used Tend Skin or if you have trouble with ingrown hairs and/or razor bumps, you owe it to yourself to try this product. I am very grateful to the other reviewers for sharing their experience with this product.
