Customer Review: Fake Morrocan Oil Product!!!!

I am completely appalled that this company has the nerve to sell fake Moroccan Oil. When I purchased this item, a quarter of the bottle leaked in the container. I called and they refunded me the price for the spilled oil. Little did I know, until late, that the registered trademark symbol, which is located on all REAL Moroccanoil products was missing off the box of my product.
I contacted Amazon, but they failed to address the issue. Looking at the comments of other people, it appears that they are aware that this company has been selling this fake product and yet they refuse to do anything about it. I guess when they get tired of refunding back the money through their A to Z Guarantee claim, then they will do something about this company who is obviously a joke.
In other words, DO NO BUY THIS PRODUCT from Above ALL BEAUTY! It is not real.

I first purchased Moroccanoil from my hairdresser and loved it! Moroccanoil leaves my hair soft and shiny but never oily and it smells wonderful. A little goes a long way. Use a pea-size amount rubbed between both of your hands then finger throughout your hair. It washes easily from hands with no build up on combs or brushes. Purchasing Moroccanoil at a salon, even a small bottle, can be very expensive so I decided to investigate purchasing online. I read a few reviews re: online purchases from folks who had received products that were not authentic Moroccanoil products. While a bit uneasy I decided to order anyway because I trust Amazon.com. After comparing the box, seal, bottle, and product to my "authentic" bottle from the salon I am happy to say the Moroccanoil (3.4oz bottle) I received from Above All Beauty via Amazon was authentic.Customer Review: Give that thirsty hair a drink from a true oasis

This product came highly reccommended to me by a friend now barely trims her ends since she started using MorocconOil. I have very curly hair that dries out and breaks very easily because I have to wet it every day to make my curls look fresh. I have searched high and low for products that will work with my curly hair - and I have always been disappointed after I spend the money and achieve no results. But ever since MorocconOil has come into my life, my hair has been transformed into shiny healthy hair. I don't ever plan to stop using this product. Just a little bit in damp hair is all I need. My hair is softer, shinier and even my curls are more defined - no residue or greasy feel. Let me also add that this stuff smells GREAT! I really wish I'd known about it earlier. Personally, I love it. I have coarse/color-processed, straight, shoulder length hair and I just use a pea sized amount on towel dried hair just before I blow dry/flat iron...and it leaves my hair soft and smooth. I use a touch more on my daughter's thick waist length hair with similar results. I'm glad my salon suggested it. The Amazon price is $11 less than what my salon was selling it for so it's also a pretty decent deal.
However, it's still a small investment even at the $27 price point and I can see how there would be people who have fine hair who might find it too heavy of a product and the smell is pretty heady (the reviewer who said it was musky is correct, with a warm spicy undertone) so I suggest if your salon sells it to ask them for a sample just to try it out first before you buy.

I purchased Moroccan Oil after my last visit to my stylist. He used this product on me and I was amazed by the results. I had to have it! I purchased it on Amazon for less than I would have paid at the salon. This product smooths my unruly hair and gives it excellent movement. A lot of products weigh hair down and make it look lifeless but this product does quiet the opposite. It tames without limiting movement. The one thing I do not like about this product is that it tends to leave more build up than other products I have used. I have to be sure to use a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove the build-up otherwise my hair looks dull and greasy. Because of the build-up issue I had to take off a star but other than that I am quite pleased with this product. Oh yeah, and a little goes a long way!
