I have never written a review on anything, but I must share my experience with Moroccan Oil. I wasn't crazy about the scent, although it has grown on me. The first day I used it, I thought it helped. After a few days, I couldn't believe how silky my hair was. I have dry, course, fine hair and it has always had the look and feel of straw no matter how much moisturizer or oil sprays I have tried. I used to have to use several products just so my hair wouldn't look frizzy. I now only use Moroccan Oil and can't imagine buying anything else. I didn't think at 44 I would have silky looking/feeling hair. This is a must buy if you have dry, course hair. You'll love it!Customer Review: Boy, did I mess up!

I saw "moroccanoil" on the bottle, the (at that time) positive reviews, and the price was right, so I didn't bother to read the ingredients. I knew I messed up when I opened the bottle and out came a heavy perfume smell. It's basically a bunch of polymers and other chemicals, plus a small amount of Moroccan oil to give it an illusion of class. I did try it once, and it gave my hair that brittle acrylic look that my other polymers and co-polymers did. Since then I've sprung for the real argon oil, and two drops of that makes my hair feel like silk. At that rate I won't have to buy another bottle of anything during my lifetime. I love this product. My hair dresser got me hooked but I did not like her price so I bought from Amazon. This stuff is great for damaged hair. I color my hair and it is naturally curly. After using a flat iron daily and the frequent coloring my hair was very dry and brittle but this really helps it feel wonderful and smooth. I also love the smell of it. It last a long time, just a little dab will do. Just be careful with the glass amber bottle it comes in, I dropped mine and broke it the first time the glass got slick from the oil in the product, so now I just pour it into another container as soon as I get a new bottle, and problem solved.Customer Review: great for damaged hair

I have really damaged, coarse and dry hair that is always frizzy and unruly. After using Moroccan oil, my hair feels softer, and looks much less frizzy and damaged. I have tried my different hair products that claims to help but they dont usually make any difference to my hair, but this product actually tones down the puffiness and frizz and makes it look and feels silky. Even though i apply a generous amount, my hair does not get greasy at all. I know some reviews complain about the smell but it does not bother me at all, it usually goes away once it is absorbed into my hair. I will continue using it and trying other products from this brand.Customer Review: A year and still going strong!

I have been using this product for over a year when my hair care professional first used it on my hair. My hair had been damaged by blow drying, curling irons, relaxers, coloring, and age and was dry and brittle. I have short, naturally curly and soft mixed race hair. She started using Moroccanoil and recommended that I use it to speed the hair drying process. I bought some from home, along with Kuene (sp?) Gloss. I use the Moroccanoil after shampooing and the Kuene (sp?) Gloss after flat ironing. My hair looks healthy and shiny and feels so soft. I don't get frizz and, best of all, I haven't used a relaxer in over a year.
