I buy this at a professional store and love it. I use to use Strong Sexy but they discontinued their deep conditioner so I tried this. It is better. I have very curly hair, almost like African American hair and thus it is always dry. Some days I feel like my hair looks like Tina Turner's in Beyond Thunderdome. I use this several times a month under a shower cap for at least a half an hour. It keeps my hair moisturized and under control. Unlike the deep conditioners that are protein based, this does not dry out my hair if I use it every week. This product is however only one of two in the line that I really loved. Tried the oil, shampoo, and a styling cream too and was not fond of them. I do like their conditioner very much but not for everyday use as it is a heavier conditioner. Probably great if you have ultra dry hair. Now I have not taken their oil and heated it for a hot oil treatment so it may be good for that use, but as a shine product I prefer micro misting shiners. I do buy their oil for my Mom's hair and it keeps it glossy without weight or feeling greasy. How an oil can feel "dry" is a mystery, but argan oil feels dry and disappears. Argan oil is a remarkable product. That and shea butter oils are terrific for multiple uses. Shea butter oil cured my Mom's rash that she has had for years and had multiple steroidal Rx product that never helped.
