A few years back,I tried a bunch of NYX eyeshadow singles on a whim.
I bought them in a dollar store.
Yes, usually items sold in dollar type stores carry the stigma of being "cheap in price and quality".
While that can be true, NYX is a major exception to the rule.
Recently, I purchased the NYX TRIO EYE EYESHADOW in gorgeous shades of purple, violet and a rich deep pink.
The colors are not only beautiful, they go on smoothly and they are neither too matte or too shimmery.
I am a user of TOO FACED EYESHADOW INSURANCE (another cruelty free product- as is NYX).
Anyone who has a problem with their shadow *disappearing* during the course of the day, should invest in one tube of this product, as it really works and that one tube will last you a long time.
I feel compelled to mention this, not just because I believe in TOO FACED EYESHADOW INSURANCE, but because I did not get to use this NYX shadow trio on bare lids.
Still,I think those who do apply the shadow on bare lids will be very pleased.
When I initially tried NYX shadows in the past, on bear lids, the colors seem to hold their own for several hours.
I think many of you will agree, once you give NYX a try, that their shadows are comparable in quality to eye shadows offered by some of the best make up lines out there, but at a much more reasonable price.
The other benefit to NYX, is that you can buy/try far more shadow pallets or shadow singles for the money you would spend at the store on higher end eye shadows.
The range of colors offered by NYX, will give eye shadow lovers and make up artists, lots of choices to play with.
My enthusiam over these shadows is genuine; and my only fear is that with the growing popularity of NYX products, it may cause the prices to eventually go up.
Whether you take a chance on NYX here at Amazon, or at a store near you, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
NYX is one of a few cosmetic lines that prove that inexpensive does not equal poor quality.
Saving money on cosmetics is a big plus- saving money and getting a great product is a called a great deal !
