My mother has badly thinning hair, and mine is thin and probably will thin like hers. I've been using Nature's Gate shampoo for thin hair, the Lemongrass and Clary Sage, and I have to say I like it. Firstly, it smells amazingly good. It doesn't lather really well because it lacks the artificial foaming agents most shampoos have, but to supplement it I add a couple drops of Dr. Bronner's tea tree castile soap and that helps it foam up a little more. (Plus, tea tree for my scalp = great.) The end result is that less hair comes out when I shower and brush, the ingredients are organic and not so harsh, and my hair smells nice. All that I desire from a shampoo.
