This product is not expensive AND it is natural....of course as MOST do-it-yourself products it is not what you get when you go to a professional to get your hair dyed, but people, seriously, you cant have it both ways. Anybody with some common sense will know that you can not expect a natural hair dye to have the effect of a artificial one, and of course you should still use your other beauty products in your hair to make it look the way you like it. (I have never seen any hair dye that is so great that it makes it unnecessary to use other shine/care/conditioning products!!!!)
I personally dont like to have my roots (which are dark blond) to show at anytime....so I ran into the problem of wanting to dye my hair about every 4 weeks (my hair grows pretty fast). But I didnt want to put my hair through all these chemicals every 4 weeks, so I tried this product, and it works perfectly for me. Yes, it does start washing out a bit after a 2-3 weeks, but that all depends on how much you wash your hair. I have very long hair and do not wash it more than twice a week, so if you are a frequent hair washer, this product (just as any other unexpensive do-it-yourself product) is not right for you.
I never had any problems with washing it out right after dying it, and also never had problems with color still being in my hair after rinsing it out (which you have to do thoroughly, just like with ANY OTHER hair dye!!!)
I would recommend this product to anyone who has fast growing out roots and therefore needs to dye their hair frequently anyway....and wants to make sure not to use something that is going to attack the hair. Also for people who, like me, have long hair and do not wash it more than once or twice a week.
