I really love this stuff.
I have hormonally-acne-prone, combination skin, and am fair complected. I have some redness in the middle of my face. I generally prefer a light-medium coverage foundation, and use concealer to deal with blemishes.
I have tried many, many foundations, from drug store to department store. Working for a counter (Prescriptives, RIP) gave me the opportunity to try a wide variety. I always find myself coming back to this stuff. Even though my skin can be on the drier side, this foundation does NOT dry me out, provided I prep my skin beforehand with moisturizer (I use jojoba oil). It's pretty thin in texture, which means it's easy to work into the skin, and buffs BEAUTIFULLY when set with a powder. I use my powders to up the coverage when needed, and have used both mineral and regular, with great results. It doesn't break me out, which is a miracle, it's actually one of the few products I'm completely unafraid of. I actually see IMPROVEMENT in my skintone when I use it regularly (probably due to the salicylic acid).
Pros:
Buildable coverage (light-full)
Easy to even out/work
Sets nicely with powder
Stays all day (best if touched up with powder)
Buffs beautifully
Clears complexion
Really gives a glow when buffed
Cons:
No sunblock (I actually prefer this, since I use a separate broad-spectrum sunblock anyway; means less chance of aggravating my skin)
Neutrogena offers a few skincare gems. This is one of them for me.
