After having my hair damaged past the point of salvation at a salon recommended to me by a friend (the rinse girl decided my highlights should sit for 15 minutes with perming solution rather than toner. How this happened, I haven't a clue), I had to chop off most of my now Shirley Temple-esque curly/frizz/mop, but the ends were still an utter disaster. It even changed the texture of my previously fine hair to course and thick. But this solution is AMAZING. After just one use I noticed a difference in my hair's texture and managability. I only wish I had known about this stuff before we cut most of my hair off.
But a note: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. You really need to use a moisturizing shampoo and a strong conditioner to get the most out of this product. First shampoo, then apply the reconstructor. After rinsing the treatment out, your hair will feel dry, thick, and even a little course. Do not panic, but use your conditioner or a hair mask for a good five minutes. Rinsing will feel completely different, and you'll notice the improvement in your hair before you finish blow drying. Using this twice a week (more than the suggested once a week treatment, but I'm trying to repair the damage as much as possible) nearly eliminates frizz, the ends of my hair aren't squiggled, dried out pieces of hay, and my hair is SO shiny and soft. I also recommend Chi products to be used with this (I swear by their flat irons - I've easily spent near $800 on flat irons over the years, and my $120 Chi has not only proven itself, but also withstood the test of time - and their Hair Silk SHOULD be called Hair Manna From Heaven).
