Customer Review: a fine shampoo but hard to measure hair loss/regrowth

You order the product because it talks about hair regrowth but then you get it and it says should be used in conjunction with 2 other products. So hte first thing you're thinking is "SCAM," but I have a friend who is fairly convinced it works. They also use the conditioner.
I'm giving it 3 stars becasue I have hope it will work. I'm not bald or even balding - I just have some thinning hair near my forehead. I'm not expecting to turn into an orangutan so my expectations are quite small. If I see a noticeable difference in the months to come, I'll be the first person to come back and give this 5 stars and sing it's praises from the rooftops. Until then, it's simply an expensive shampoo.

This is a good shampoo, but don't expect your hair to grow back. Even Nioxin claims on its bottle as "9 out of 10 people perceived increase in hair density..". The keyword is "Perceive".. If you want to "perceive" that your hair is regrowing or thickening, this is your product. Otherwise, this is another expensive shampoo..
FYI- I've tried, Nioxin system 1 and 2 shampoo & conditioner (6+ months), Nioxin vitamins (6+months), and the liquid treatment for 3+ months. My hair feels soft and clean, but no result. I did "PERCEIVE" that my hair density increased, but no regrowth. Use Head & shoulders thickening shampoo for $2.99 instead of wasting money like me.

My husband uses this shampoo for awhile now and it really makes a difference. It doesn't make your hair grow back, but it stops loosing more hair. Since he started using this shampoo, I can see much less hair in the showerbox. So if you are starting to see your hairline going north, it's time to start using this shampoo.
This price is the cheapest compare to a retail beauty supply store. They usually cost $33, plus tax. Here, you get free shipping, no sales tax in most states, plus a regular shipment. It's great!

Can't say much about less hair loss yet, it's only been a few days, but there is a MAJOR improvement in how my hair looks and feels. As I've gotten into my late 30's, my once-soft and touchable hair has gotten frizzy, stringy and kind of unmanageable. Since I started using Nioxin scalp treatment (yes, it can burn but I'm willing to endure that for the benefits) my hair feels and looks noticeably better. It is soft, smooth, and shiny. I will keep using this product for that reason alone.Customer Review: This product works fine but it is not what I ordered.

I ordered Nioxin Cleanser for Fine Hair, System 1, Natural Hair as it is showed on description but It came with Nioxin Cleanser for Fine Hair, System 2, Natural Hair. The cleanser works fine and I really don't care if it is system 1 or system 2. However I think the product description and image should match to the actual product. The cleanser was clear color which is different from blue color what I used to use. Is System 2 color different from System 1 ???
