I had been going through a very stressful time in my life and consequently, my hair was literally shedding -- a lot! My hairdresser recommended that I use the, Nioxin Intense Therapy Recharging Complex Tablets. He said many chemotherapy patients have used them with great results. Other beauticians, who were in earshot of our conversation, chimed in saying their friend, aunt, mother, etc. have used them and "they do definitely work!" He also mentioned that it's not like Rogaine/Minoxidil in that once you stop using the product you will again begin to lose your hair. I am 58 and over the years I have noticed my hair thinning on top and have definitely needed the use of eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows. My first purchase was a 30 count supply at a boutique inside a Wal-Mart - in all honesty within a week I could tell the difference - my hair had stopped shedding dramatically. I have continued to use this product for nearly 3 months and have noticed a positively beautiful change in my hair - even my sparse eyebrows have filled in and eyebrow pencil is no longer necessary. I just wanted to share with others that this is indeed a quality product. Thus, I decided to purchase the 90-count supply through Amazon ... even with the shipping charge the cost per tablet is a great savings! Also with use of this product, my finger nails seem to be stronger... and since this product is doing wonderful things for my hair and nails, I suspicion it is also doing good things for my skin. The tablets are not horse-pill size and do not have the typical vitamin after taste. From my personal experience, I am inclined to trust the full-line of Nioxin products.
