i got this for my daughter who was recovering from surgery. she has long hair, and I mainly wanted this to freshen up at the scalp, where it was really oily. When the weather is cold, or you don't have time, this shampoo will quickly get your hair clean. Perhaps not as clean as the standard hair wash, but clean enough to wear to work or head to the store while still looking good.
