I have fine hair that has difficulty holding and curl from an iron, but I love having curly hair, so I've been using Ogilvie's perms (particularly the foam ones) for the past couple years, and cannot say enough good things. The price is certainly right, it's not difficult to set (Ive had someone help me just to be on the safe side, but I could easily imagine doing it myself with the foam ones), and it gives just the right amount of curl. My hair's on the longer side so my curls aren't quite as tight, but even still the results are wonderful and no fear of poodle hair like the kind my mom had in the 80s/90s. So thankful Amazon carries this, since it's impossible to find in stores.
