Let me start off by saying that I've never had any issues with Olay products or gel eye serums. I started using this and the active hydrating gel around the same time. About a week later, I started getting sties covering the lid of each eye along with some itching. After the itching would pass, my eyelids would be covered with dry, scaled skin and the process would start all over again. I stopped using eye shadow and then went an entire week with no eye makeup at all...nothing helped. I hoped the problem would just pass and continued my nightly routine of hydrating gel and revitalizing gel, not thinking that moisturizers could be the problem. I went on vacation and decided not to bring it with me, and noticed my eyes were less swollen. When I returned home a week later, I stopped using it all together and my eyes are almost back to normal.
Medical issues aside, I didn't notice much of a difference in the look of my eyes (I'm 28 with no wrinkle problems, but have always had dark circles.) I've also used Mary Kay's eye gel and had no adverse reactions, but I switched because of the slightly higher price and annoyance in getting the products. Maybe this gel is effective in reducing wrinkles, but I didn't see any positive results.
