Ok, yeah, I'm a guy, and I just turned 42. I don't look anywhere near my age. My secret is that I am an obsessive moisturizing person. As soon as I started shaving, I covered my face with any type of lotion to ease any razor burn. Never used anything but lotion. I even would use petroleum jelly if there was no lotion. (Don't worry, I don't now) Another is Bag-Balm which I use on "everything". (yes, men, try it).
So, through the years, I have gone back and forth on common store lotions to the "what was I thinking" prices of department stores. I liked Lauder's men's line, but they just kinda forgot about us. I kept going back to fairly basic Neutrogena products. I've been happy with their line for years.
I have tried Olay items in the past. No issues. I do have a problem with any type of fragrance, which is another reason I kept going to Neutrogena. But, this Olay Kit is fragrance free and I am having no allergic reaction, as I am fairly sensitive.
I have been using it less than a month, and you need to use it for at least two to see results, but I saw result almost immediately. Keeping in mind that I don't have a wrinkle problem, but I have this big and little line on my forehead. I really did not care about it, but for the sake of testing, I used the tube of the "Deep Wrinkle Treatment". Squeeze a thin line with the tube, and lightly rub it in. I did it before bedtime, and woke up to the line hardly being there. I'm sorry, but that is just impossible. I did it again, within the 48 hours, it's essentially gone. I'm not even applying it every day because I don't know where it is.
Then you have the tall jar of "Age Repair Lotion SPF 30". This is essentially replacing by daily moisturizer after shaving. I put it everywhere on face and neck. It's not meant for eyes, but I have been lightly going around them. I am feeling like I am not reapplying as much as I normally would. There is no outstanding result of this except that it does not feel clogging, it does feel replenishing, and appealing to use.
Lastly is the jar of "Wrinkle Smoothing Cream" which you apply at night. I watch TV in bed for a little bit before sleeping, so I put it on then. The first time I thought nothing of it until some face touching came into the picture. I have NEVER felt such a smooth baby skin feeling on my skin before. This was immediate. It became so UNmanly, I am concerned! I don't Ryan Seacrest myself, really. Never had a manicure. My eyebrows are actual eyebrows. Never had a facial. etc. Seriously, the only thing I do is gob on the lotion. But, I mean, come on... is this a plus? It's a perplexing situation. Questioning my sexuality because of lotion. The lotion part of that equation has taken a serious u-turn for it's use. But, I will go with it. If I keep the 5 o'clock shadow thing going, it won't be as smooth. I did overdue it one night. You don't need much. I must have put way too much on because it started peeling off. (the lotion, not my skin!). There's a bit of personal adjustments, but based on my limited use so far, if you have any wrinkle issues, it's worth it.
The only negative I have is the packaging. It's not exactly eco-friendly. The tube is fine, but the jar and bottle have excessive plastic thickness. An illusion you are getting more than it is. It is pricy, but if it works (and it does), there is no need to enhance the size. If you want to create a lotion for size enhancement, then great. Maybe I will stop getting those emails about it every day. But, Olay, your package does not need it. It does not matter in this case.
