A coworker in her early 60's with significant jowling and neck laxity bought one of these in Oct. 2009. I got one too, and we experimented for about a month. While we both noticed a tiny bit of tightening in the neck/jowl area, I wasn't sure it could make much more of a difference, and I stopped using it.
I didn't see her for several months...then we met for lunch this Jan. 2011 -- and wow -- I could REALLY see a difference in her neck! Everything was noticeably tighter. She'd kept using the device all that time and it showed. I was so impressed, I pulled my Neckline Slimmer back out that night and have been working with it, since.
I've exercised 5-6 nights a week for the last 2 months - easy to do while watching TV before bed. I use only the heaviest spring, as the lighter ones have never provided enough resistance. Along with the 2 basic exercises done directly under the chin as instructed, I added a twist: I also do them under each side of my neck. I believe the addition has helped me get better and faster results; I can see an actual difference in my profile - my lower cheek/jowel is tighter on each side, plus platysmal lines in the front of my neck are slightly yet noticeably less prominent.
This little tool cannot perform miracles, of course; jowels are partly due to the cheeks sagging from age and gravity, so working "just" the lower face won't lift the cheeks back to their younger position as can be done via surgery or mid face exercise...BUT used for what it's intended, I'm happy to get results I can see.
It will be interesting to see if improvement plateaus soon, or if I'll see even more tightening over the next several months. Bottom line: the Neckline Slimmer is very reasonably priced, easy to use, and does work!
