Love this steamer--was looking for a tabletop and out of all of the ones i reviewed I choose this one.
I choose this mainly because I recognize the brand name, as an esthetician ive worked with several different brand steamers, paragon, though not the best, is in the top 5.
this steamer would have received 5 STARS if it were not for the funky plastic smell it emits when first used, the small capacity of water it holds and the jar being plastic--even though mini, i still think the jar should be glass... The big plus is the output of this lil thing is almost as good as a big professional one.
it steams for about 2/3's a cup (17 minutes) before turning off and leaving a little left in the bottom-also its kinda hard to change out the bowl cuz you have to tip it to clear the heating element.
